That's a head scratcher.
He really did wonders with the team he had.
Easy to monday morning quarterback but will always wonder what if we had brought him in last year.

I don't think they would even punt on him if they didn't think Bielsa's style was good enough to save us, would they? He may be his own man, but he must have similar thoughts to Bielsa to have him there as an assistant in the first place. And that is no reflection on his ability...just think it would be a risk our Board may not contemplate.

Agree, did well with Hudds on limited budget, will be many clubs interested as head coach etc, we have moved on, new set up / coach, players etc, so at this point, we look to the future.

He knew they'd overachieved last year and then sold their 2 best players and now aren't investing.
It was a very smart move IMO as I'd put them down for relegation this year
