Nine years in a Russian prison!! Seems like Putin controls everything even the sentencing from Judges!
What horrible countries Russia and China are with truly horrible values!
In some ways I hope China attack and the USA batter them and for sure trade whether good or bad will be dented for a long time!
Same with Putin - he will only stop when someone stands up to him and he loses face!

We need to immediately cut Russian gas imports into Europe, surely we can bring LPG in and increase the North Sea flow to tide Europe over. Same with China, it should be illegal to buy Chinese crap, imagine a British company being allowed to trade that is propped up by slave labour, don’t think so yet we continue to be allowed to bring this poison in. Yes it will be hard in the short term but we have to nip things in the bud now and yes we are at war!

The problem is, money talks. Morals and integrity come way down the list and profit reigns. Of course we should cut Russian gas imports into Europe and we should stop buying Chinese tat, but unless I've got it completely wrong, we won't, for the very reason stated.
