    As a matter of interest...

Carlisle are away to Colchester tomorrow, a very long way. How many away fans will go? Its a trek for away fans to Carlisle, never mind facing a hefty trip dahn sarf every second week for Carlisle fans.

On long away trips Cambridge take about 150- 200 hard core, a bit higher for big games. Closer to home United can take about a thousand especially to london clubs, or less.

Is anyone going to Colchester? If you pass ely, i can offer counselling.

Colchester are in a lot of debt, which is an interesting topic.

If you look at all the clubs in League Two that are in debt there are factors to consider. Maybe some clubs are in debt through building
facilities that will soon start to make regular decent amounts of money on a continuous daily basis. Maybe some clubs are in a lot of debt
but it may be that numerous debts have all been paid off by one person and the debt is now to that one person who may eventually cancel it. But there are some clubs that have an all-too-real and substantial debt that the creditor wants paying off in full immediately. Such is the situation at Carlisle United Football Club (1921) Limited.

There’ll be a few there Frank with a mixture of folk from Cumberland and others from our thriving London Branch. I was Chairman of that once.

I like Colchester, ive been there a few times to say the least, the old ground, Layer road was a cracking ground. I dont understand why they struggle, its a stones throw from London, Clacton aint far. Cambridge had a London branch too, they used too meet in a pub to watch tv games, all four or five.
