    Mitrovic

He’s coming good. Last year 43 goals and now already 2 goals this season.

Not many can say they had Van Dyke’s number. He did today. Looked very impressive.

I still remain convinced that nothing will come of him in the prem.

He'll do well for the first 5 maybe 10 games then he'll disappear.

100% he did brilliantly today but over a season, no - I don't see it.

Aye, this. And what Millburn said about Mids. 😁

In fairness, mind, I think he was poorly treated by Rafa as far as game time.

Too true Zip. Decent player but I don't think he done himself any favors with his enthusiasm came the red mist and at the time we couldn't afford to be down to 10 men every now and then.

It is possible for players to improve. 🙂

He showed no irritation or foul play today and his running with the ball was outstanding on occasion. He skinned VVD at least twice.

Time will tell this season but it was a hell of a performance to kick off the season.

Mitro is a class striker and brilliant finisher of the ball. Can score with both feet his head and is a solid penalty taker. I'd have him back here in a heartbeat especially the way we play now. How he can smack in a record amount of goals in the championship and be his country's all time top scorer yet people still claim ' he's not Prem quality ' is absolutely beyond me. I thought he was Prem quality when we had him he was just raw and needed a bit of time and work on him. The only reason he may not carry on scoring all season is because he's at Fulham but if they carry on playing like they did yesterday Mitro will be bagging plenty.

Mitro will score 20 league goals this season. Come at me bro…..at the end of the season.

Rafa freezes players out he can’t trust to keep their temper in check as Shelvey found out. That’s the only reason he’s still not a Newcastle player. If he wised up he could have developed a lot under Rafa.
