    ….for talking over James Phillips when he was whittering on about Shearer and netball and Premier League stuff instead of what was happening on the pitch. Shoddy work from Phillips.

    Totally agree.

    Who the f**k is interested in the netball...and even if they were, why would they be listening to the football?

    Somebody needs to give him a feed. Commentating from one side with the camera on the other does him no favours, it just proves he’s guessing half the time.

    Maybe the Beeb could pay an annual subscription to let him watch iplayer.

    Unfortunately lPlayer’s about a minute behind. By feed I mean a link from the live camera to a screen in front of both commentary positions. Time for the EFL to drag this system into the 2020s.
