Only point to note tonight was Liam Manning got an assist in the 90+8 minute as Swansea came back to win 2-1 at Watford. The game actually went to 90+20 minutes, I'm assuming the reason being that sometime during the 2nd half Watford had to appoint a new manager and it took a while to get the paperwork signed

Yet another fruitless Saturday for the Millers but another fruitful one for ex-Millers.

Starting in Scotland, James Tavernier scored a customary penalty in Rangers' 4-0 win over St Mirren. In the Championship, Jerry Yates scored a brace as Blackpool recorded an unexpected 3-1 win over Watford. I'm sure that taxi for Bilic is already on order. In League 1, JCH and Josh Koroma each scored as Posh and Pompey drew 1-1 with Burton and Fleetwood respectively. In League 2, Jordan Bowery got the winner for Mansfield at Barrow and Ryan Taylor got one in Grimsby's 3-0 win over Crawly.

In managerial news, the man who always had trouser problems has his Stevenage team atop League 2 after a 2-0 win at home to Swindon.

Time added on might have been because they was waiting for Liam to get from Shrewsbury where he was on touchline managing mk dons….🤣..you pulled up MT up other week so only fair..🤣…

On topic regarding mk dons. kayode”s loan is seemingly looking at no benefit for anyone…he might aswell sit on bench here if that’s what happening week in week out down there…🤔

Jerry Yates great goal that second one, didn't know he had it in him.

Joe Newell's Hibs went up to third in Scotland too.

Anthony Forde plays at full back for Wrexham and they conceded 5 yesterday but scored 7.

Last time Wrexham got 7 was against us in 1995.

Our ex manager Andy Scott has been sacked as Head Scout at Forest, Maybe Derby can go for him and hopefully leave his brother where he is.

JCH continues to keep this thread ticking over as he scored in Posh's 4-1 demolition of Forest Green. The 'big boys' are already gathering towards to the top of League 1 for what looks like being a right royal battle for the 3 promotion places. PW has his work cut out to prevent DCFC becoming detached from the leading group.

Round up of events for Saturday, October 15th.

In the early game Danny Ward scored for Huddersfield but still saw his side lose to the Merry Millers Jerry Yates bagged a brace in what looks like was a lively 3-3 draw for Blackpool at Bramall Lane. Will Grigg scored for MK Dons who were defeated by Plymouth as they exacted revenge for their drubbing at the hands of MK on the last day of last season.

In Scotland, Joe Newell had an unhappy afternoon as he played the whole 90 minutes as Hibs were hammered 6-1 at Celtic.

Not only did Yates get two, he ended up playing at left back and gave away a penalty.

A day to remember for him
