I asked the Luton Outlaws fans about Fred.

Here are the replies I have had so far:

Nice guy, average championship player, an upgrade on Kioso if you play him at wingback.

Had a fantastic debut, never quite reached those heights again. If you could sell us your keeper for a knockdown price as an act of gratitude for us lending you Fred, that would be great.

Not sure how effective he will be in a struggling side. If you are struggling of course.

Very decent player and very quick. Hope he does well for you.

Speedy but had an injury and struggled a bit when he came back. Useful as an "impact sub" against a tiring defence. Could do well for you. Would probably have struggled to get into our squad this season.

I like him, has a really good bit of speed and can get behind the opposition backline. A decent signing for you. I guess we are getting your keeper in return, he is decent I think?

Another impressive signing. Apart from young Dexter we have been very deliberate with signing Championship proven players. As MT said we would.

Oh and another one that won't be coming in for peanuts, a further example of 'backing' by TS, yet we hear it questioned so often.

Starting to really take shape. Minus some more help up top and a couple of others.

Actually beginning to get excited for the campaign. UTM!

Well we needed a winger or 2,so this is good news,I`ve heard of him,but honestly can`t remember him playing against us,which obviously he has.
Then again,I`d not heard of Chieo when he signed,so good luck fella.

Matt Taylor sticking to his word in terms of trying to develop the quality of playing staff - like what is starting to take shape now

I remember the Barnsley fans singing that some seasons ago.
