What have we learned from all League Two teams having played two matches?

Well, it is a grim person indeed who could not laugh at Harry McKirdy being sent off before half-time and Swindon Town getting seven yellow cards. Presumably McKirdy will miss next Saturday's match at Brunton Park.

It is a surprise that Stevenage and Barrow have both won both their matches and that both Tranmere Rovers and Crawley Town and Tranmere Rovers have each lost both their matches. Of course Crawley Town are financially well backed and are at the cutting edge of technology and thus are heading for the Premier League.

We have learned that Carlisle United will rarely score more than one goal per match, no matter how many chances are created.

Maybe someone has researched the raw data that went into Swindon Town's accounts and the truth has emerged. The club cannot for ever spend much more than it earns. A period of ordinary football budget may be in force.
