Classic London Press reporting on the game yesterday

    https://www.nottinghampost.com/sport...-media-7433442

To a paper, every single publication basically said that Forest were unlucky and on another day the scoreline could have been different.

    It's laughable really.

I guess it's a good thing really. It's just gonna give Howe more fuel in his training meetings to create a bunker mentality 'us against the world, let's go show these clowns they were wrong!'

Long my this nonsense and our good form continue.

We bossed the game from start to finish, they never had a shot on target, and Lingard who the media constantly rave about was sh!te...that's what happened

I'm not one to defend the press, but reading that article, the key terms that I saw were on the theme of "schooled", "dominated" and "Should have been more".

Yeah they included "schooled", "dominated" and "Should have been more". However the article still painted it like they had an off day despite those words.

I’ve seen a couple of comments about Forest battling hard and ‘they’ll survive this season if they continue that level of performance’.

Sorry (and I like Forest and their manager) but they were awful and created next to nothing all game. On another day it’s 4 or 5-0 to Newcastle. With that and the fact that the ginger Pirlo is a starter, I have them marked down for relegation already.

It's very hard to bring in 12 first team squad players and make them gel in 6 weeks.

Some of their signings have only just arrived.

I think you might see a better team one the WC break is over. This could be a blessing for forest as they might be able to get that team together during the 4 weeks off in mid season.

However its big task. Gonna be interesting to watch.

I would like them to stay up.

When I saw that he started, my immediate reaction was to start laughing. And then seconds later I started feeling really sorry for the Forest fans.

Seriously, he's not a Premier League-quality player and they should be worried about this season with JC in the starting eleven.

    Good point.

@Hughie - he is nailed on a chimpo quality player, like Gayle.

Yeo-if Colback is a starter, they're in trouble. Poor player.

The fact that he's a little sh!te is neither here nor there. 😁
