That's the thing about the Premiership, once you get there you are given many millions of pounds, but you have to spend many millions of pounds just to be competitive at the bottom end. If it goes tits up after one season, the generous parachute payments often only finance the long contracts that have been given to sub-standard players. Let's hope they've signed a few more Arters!
