With the fixtures featuring all of the top promoted teams, these were clearly not as easy to predict as (most of) us thought.

MORRIM (xxEE) scored a dozen points with exact scorelines in the League One and League Two games. These also ended up being the only fixtures where any points were actively scored. Liverpool? Norwich? Where are ya!

CherryPie7 (xxOE), Silentman (xxOE) and Whitestomper45 (xxOE) scored nine points handing in the same basic homework: the exact scoreline at The New Lawn Stadium and a correct outcome at Lamex Stadium. Can't say that I've been to either. Yet.

MORRIM is obviously first out of the gate andis top of the table, with the aforementioned trio three points behind.

We welcome Ozwhite and UbiqueLUFC33 to the competition. Both are board regulars who've decided their lives simply weren't complete without this weekly nonsense.

There were two draws, so Johnny_Default starts his season on six points. The strike rules don't apply in this, the first week of the new SL campaign.

The results

(PL) Fulham v Liverpool (2-2)
(C) Norwich City v Wigan Athletic (1-1)
(L1) Forest Green Rovers v Ipswich Town (1-2)
(L2) Stevenage v Stockport Counthy (2-1)

The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.

All the best! Stay safe!
