    Something is up

Mings dethroned, dropped and fingered publicly by Gerrard.
Now a supposed bust up with Watkins and some saying he will be sold before the window closes! Sanson ignored, Konsa preferred. Not exactly harmony is it, a performance on saturday which, would excuse you for thinking the players wanted to lose to put pressure on Gerrard. Something is up and the press are all over is, again!

The Villa apparently became the best in the world, over the summer, without even playing a game. Now after ONE match, they’re the worst in history.

Modern society dictates that everything is either the best or worst ever.

Instant gratification demands reasons, and excuses for everything that doesn’t smell of roses. Stories are made up to fit the desired outcome, usually panic and mania.

Life didn’t exist before Modernity. People were never as upset as they are nowadays.

I’d heard the Watkins drama, the source referenced was the ‘Football Insider’, I stopped listening.

We lost a game, the way that the Villa have done regularly, very regularly, for nigh on 20 years. Sanson was ignored by the manager that bought him as well. Ollie was DS love child, so let's now see if the boy has the spirit to fight for a shirt.

On to the next one, full bore.

    We are what we are!

    And I just love us!!!

I woùld believe the Watkins bust up. I said before it seems odd he was dropped.
Yes something isnt right in the camp for sure. Maybe Gerrards man management skills arnt the bèst. Lets hope hes not another Roy Keane.

However time will tell but it doesn't doesn't look good. Mings and Watkins are big playeŕs for us and we need to be carfull Newcastle dont snap them up.

i'm surprised we haven't moved on players no longer wanted. Having them hanging around just causes further bad feelings. I'm also shocked that we haven't brought it more new players. something fishy in the air

Maybe SG is just a disciplinarian, who cracks the whip. Demands what he’s used to, PROFESSIONALISM.

DS was running around powdering their bottoms, welcome to the house of fun.

100+k a week? Dropped? Then work harder, ya precious little poppet.

Whatever side he picks this week and think he will pick the same team, he needs a reaction, win, lose or draw, they need to show some bottle!.....or!

If, as expected, Luiz finally signs his new 3 yr contract in the coming 48 hrs, then I’d say he’ll start ahead of Ramsey, on Saturday. Should he not sign, then last weekend’s midfield could well survive.

Konsa should be lucky to make the bench, he ain’t match-fit, and his confidence is shot. Mings is still not fully fit (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0crkvk0), so maybe Chambers?

Does anyone think that he’ll play both Coutinho and Buendia, in a 4-3-2-1? Or will he panic and go safe with a 4-4-1-1, with 2 DMs?

No, you're right, with the added prospect of ruining the whole weekend.

Then again, I could be dancing towards the Stella fridge, by half 2, with the weekend, just a blur

    Up the Villa!!!
