    2nd round of the cup

Now it's been a while since that has happened.
Good display against the sort of opposition we would of stumbled against.
Early days but things are looking very positive.

The manager is clearly very good, and also very motivated. He chose to come here for a reason. He picked us.
He saw the good squad he had, but more importantly the Academy and facilities we offer to attract young players.
God knows how we are doing it, considering the catchment area we are in, and the kids can easily be snapped up by Man City, Man Utd or Liverpool amongst others, but we are unearthing some real gems.
Ash Philips is going to go on and play at the very highest level. Adam Wharton is probs going to be better than his brother. Young Batty is a real find.

Not sure how we got Morton to this club, but my god what a player he is going to be. Him alongside some of these kids will save us a fortune of players we all thought we desperately needed to go and get. Other than a loan CH, I am unsure we ever needed anyone, unless Brereton left.

Great to see all our back-up front 3 combine and look so effective, Dack, Markandy and Dolan will all be important for us this season.

Good to see We visit Sparky and his Bradford side next, with Ritchie Smallwood & Harry Chapman wanting to say hi to old team-mates.

People are just going to have to suck this up and contrary to their normal apprehensive approach to viewing Rovers, may to accept we are looking like we are heading in the right direction.
