Bates can make the team easily enough after this showing.

    No , but TBF

Thumping the ball upfield into no mans land, must surely trump Stewart's passing to the opposition high stats

    A few random thoughts
    - I struggle to remember a game where so many players were terrible at the same time and so many misplaced passes
    - Motherwell looked like they wanted it much more than we did for the whole match
    - We must play Scales and Stewart in the middle every game so they can develop a partnership and make do at left back if need be
    - The jury is still definitely out on whether Goodwin has the nous to change a game when it’s not going well
    - On what will likely be the hottest day we will play this year why on earth only put on three subs?
    - Miovski looks a class act despite his miss in the first half
    - Our full backs and midfield stand off their opponents way too much, what happened to Goodwin’s high press approach?
    - Ref very inconsistent but at last a ref with the balls to add on the proper amount of time for the blatant time wasting
    - Still waste far too much time on square passes at the back that achieves the square root of f’uck all
    - Likely to be six points behind Celtic and secco and four behind hertz after only three games. A big reality check and makes the next two games absolute must wins otherwise pressure will start to crank up on Goodwin

    Well that was simply dreadful.

Started poorly and just got worse. No zip, no energy, nothing.

I’m not massively impressed with the fitness levels either.

That was as bad as anything served up last year on in McInnes’ last couple of seasons.

Defence a shambles. Just play Scales at CH and McCrorie (who was ok tbf) in midfield ffs.

Stewart was dreadful. Lost the ball far too often and his passing was horrendous.

That Richardson though - deary me. He has absolutely no idea how to defend. Clueless. Jack Gurr standard today.

Midfield toothless - Ramadani very poor.

Miovski, brilliant header, terrible sitter missed.

Kennedy injuring himself fuucking up a free kick just summed it all up.

Motherwell had 19 shots and 12 corners.

Motherwell, at pittodrie - embarrassing really.

Honeymoon was over for Goodwin last season. He’s not going to get many more chances from the fans after a performance like that.

Same old, same old I’m afraid.

    Every fuuckin year…

Good points - the bottom line is that this new look Aberdeen team doesn’t look much better than the one that preceded it, thus far, as beating opposition from lower leagues and a 10-man St Mirren doesn’t really count for a lot. I really expected better than 3 points from 9 and unless we string together a few wins we’ll find it difficult to get out of the bottom third yet again.

Motherwell targeted Richardson who had no positional awareness and had no idea what was going on around him. Stewart gets dragged out to the right and if he wins the ball gives it away and out of position.
Ramadani slow as **** and doesn’t break okay up or provide anything creatively
We are so easy to play against- sit off and let them pass the ball around us

Clarkson composed apart from a couple of times gave the ball away in our half that could have cost us more silly goals

Hayes still shows he has a better engine than pretty much all with exception of McRorie. vinny tried but just didn’t come off

Could be another long season if this continues
