Blackpool FC Reject Offer of a Ticket Price Cap from Burnley FC

Blackpool FC have rejected Burnley's offer of a £25 away ticket price cap, for supporters
heading to Turf Moor on the 20th August 2022.
Blackpool set their own away ticket pricing based on a category of fixture, but Burnley
offered a discount for Blackpool fans travelling to Burnley, which would then be reciprocated
on the return fixture at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool also rejected Reading FC offer to reciprocate away tickets at £20 per adult, for the
opening game of the championship season.

Burnley have extended the offer to all 23 championship clubs for this season, in order to
provide a better deal for their own supporters, making away trips this season.

Blackpool said, the club always looks for opportunities to help supporters, but declined Burnley's
offer, saying they are helping supporters by offering £15 coach trip price to Burnley, which will
aid travel during the rail strike, & a £20 cost for coaches to Stoke City, at a time where prices
    continue to rise.
Adding, Blackpool aren't able to benefit from parachute payments & premier league subsidies,
& as such have to run the club in a way that works best for Blackpool, in order to be able to
compete with bigger clubs, in the division.

Blackpool have received a full allocation of 2,354 tickets for the Lancashire derby at Turf Moor.
    Prices
    £30 Adult / £27 restricted viewing
    £20 Seniors [over 65] / £17 restricted viewing
    £22 Under 22's / £17 restricted viewing
    £18 Under 18's / £15 restricted viewing

Due to expected demand for the fixture, tickets will be released via following categories

................................... minimum of 3 away fixtures last season.

All this restricted viewing….. knock the ground down and build a modern stadium you tight gits 😁 It’s like that s.hithole at S6…..probably one of the most outdated grounds in the entire 4 leagues.

Or they knock down Bramall Lane and Hillsborough, build a new super stadium and share it.

It was put to the 2 clubs when they were planning to build Don Valley Stadium(we all remember well) in the late 80/early 90's. Student games started 1991?
They both turned the offer down, looking back it was the wrong decision, could have had a decent stadium now.

Has the ski centre closed? I was looking forward to getting together with John2 when we move back either on the piste or whilst we were waiting for the solar powered chair lift to kick into action.
