Dike out for few months. Grant has sore back. Viles Davi’s being linked. Surely we need 2 forwards now.Thoughts anyone ?

Oh no, not Davis, Bruce should give Cleary the position if Grant is out. Remember years ago, I believe Big Cyrille only got into the team because of injuries to more experienced players and look what happened then!

Agree with you Ketts, Cleary can definitely score goals and a stint in the first team is what he needs. Look at Rooney (5 days off 17 when he scored against Arsenal), Fowler was only 18. None of them at Baggies of course, but he must be given a chance.

As others have posted, otherwise why do we bother with the academy? It looks like we had some positive performances yesterday with Palmer (I would prefer to Button long term), TGH and Ashworth. They might make the odd mistake but who doesn't in the existing squad of players?!?

We will see, but I suspect we will end up getting someone in on loan and they will be no better than who we already have and we will pay for the privilege!

The Birmingham mail were saying the deluded sc um wanted £15m for Davies.

There's a reason forest didn't sign him permanently, it's because he is s hit.

Ollie Watkins would be worth a punt it seems he's not guaranteed a starting place at the moment.

    Are you on drugs Splinter?

Below zero chance of us affording Watkins even on loan and plenty of lower Prem sides would be way ahead of us in the queue.

    Good.

3 goals in 73 games for Villa at our level FFS.

5 in 15 for Forest last season.

8 in 88 matches at Championship level at one every 11 matches is not what we’re looking for.

I’m confident Cleary will come good given a run and cost us nothing.

I’d bet on Bartley to score more if played up front than Davis!
