    O/T Drought

    Is it affecting you much? The kid that threw a water bomb through my window at 1am this morning doesn't seem too bothered....i nearly sh!t myself!

    We've had the best week of weather we've ever had in Keswick -rain next week is very much needed, though.

    Mind, if the water companies put some of their profits into fixing the leaks that allow gazillions of litres to be lost every year, we could cope without the need for the imminent restrictions.

    If they were efficient and did that though they wouldn't be able to distribute their millions in dividends to their mainly foreign shareholders

    We have the weather you're getting most summers where I am and usually have a drought period where most areas are brown for a long time. Mind you, we have a ginormous Lake Ontario on our doorstep though but at times the lake level drops quite alarmingly but always comes back to normal levels. I'm sure the weather you are getting is a one off and you'll soon be bitching about the rain.
