    Airdrie

Wullie writing in the local press that the team needs to repay the fans for their support by putting on a performance this Saturday as a start of improving upon our dismal home record. Tough ask against Airdrie who have started the season with a bang so we need everyone to be at their best to get a result. Mon the South.

On paper a very difficult encounter awaits us - top of the league and yet to lose a goal so hopefully we can improve on our appalling home rocord of the last few seasons = come on Queens.

Looks to have the depth of experience that some have been asking for so a welcome addition to the squad.

Bad news is we are stiĺl without Ruth, Connolly and McGrory . The latter two being about our two main men ( for me). Wilson and Reilly could well start but I would expect them to tire if they do from lack of game time. The new defensive signing is welcone and hopefully add a bit of steel that we are certainly lacking . Again, Im not sure hiw match fit Hendrie will be ? Would love a home win for our loyal fans and especially the young lads and lassies who folliw Queens so fervently. They deserve it.

I reckon Queens new signing could be better at snooker!

Yes a home victory soon is very much required for our suffering home supporters who have been starved for a while. Hopefully today is the day and we can then kick on for the season ahead.

You'd think we wouldn't be lacking anything this early on.
It's not like we've been short of preparation time.

Stuck to the task after losing a goal when keeper Currie spilled a free - kick resulting in a tap in. Todd and McKechnie made a difference after being introduced from the bench and Queens dominated the last quarter of the game but could not score a winner. Nice to see cult hero big Whoosh - Dougie Mills - at the game. -
