In the few clips I have sen of Cleary, he does seem more able to hold the ball up better then some we have had in the very recent past.
But a striker needs goals and I would be optimistic that given enough game time, he could prove capable. Needs experience around him now. A Darren Fletcher type person is needed in the team for some of the youth that is knocking about with the first team.

The report said TGH was sloppy with his passing first half but grew into the game. I’m sure he will be used though Mick.

I’ll never understand how a pro player misses a chance like Cleary did when he was clean through.

I used to love coming in that angle, even well into my 40’s I was still arriving them across a keeper into the far corner.
