    Something out of nothing

We were lucky not to lose that game. Brighton are a good side so it was never going to be easy, but when we are having a tough game, we are missing that extra player who can create something out of nothing.

Doesn't have to be Pulisic, but someone like that could be a good option.

Anyways, a decent point today, great performance by Pope in particular and I still love Bruno G.

Has more to do with Pope's skill than luck.

Undeniable bit of luck is that the point blank shot went the other side of the post

Really frustrating today. Time to break the bank and bring in 2 or 3 top quality attacking players. Don't care what wages they get. We should be destroying Brighton.

Bringing on Longstaff and Murphy shows how much work is still needed to be done, get a top striker in this week we cant keep relying on Wilson its to much pressure.

Fair comments but it’s important to remember where we’ve come from. 12 months ago we would’ve had 11 behind the ball all game and certainly, lost.

Hey ho, up to third. 😀

What on earth makes you say that??

Brighton have an established system for bringing in very good under-the-radar signings, play a really good brand of football have and a very good manager who's been there 3 years and gets the best out of his squad. They've been giving the bigger teams a bloody nose for a couple of years now. In terms of where we are in our 'journey', a point away at Brighton is a decent result.

Yeah fair enough, just a bit of frustration talking. Though with our resources, i want it to be Brighton that are happy with a point, not us.

    Aye, man, I get that.

Let's also be glad we're not Man U fans tonight.

    Agreed.

Luckily the bloke that got them doing that is now our Sporting Director.

A point away at Brighton is solid I think.

However, I agree it highlighted our need for some quality reinforcement up top.
