Giddings always sounds like he begrudges turning up to commentate on our games. His tone is flat with no enthusiasm but mention Halifax Town and suddenly he comes to life.

We don’t get much of Rob Staton because he’s a Weds fan but out of them all, he’s the most enthusiastic of the three.

The Sky highlights always appear on YouTube a few hours later.

It's because as presenters their skill set dooms them to the backwater of radio deedah

Paul Walkers done ok from deedah radio. He now commentates on TV games and comes across as knowing his job.

For the cup highlights midweek they were talking about Ogbene only having scored a few last season and how his PV goal was ‘a real striker’s finish’...absolutely no mention that he was playing wingback last season.

They’re just reading boring stats and doing run of the mill links, no insight whatsoever. I get that it’s hard to follow 72 teams but they had Glenn Murray on who’s also doing Premier League punditry this year so not exactly a specialist.

The Quest show was a perfect blueprint of how the show should be. Murray was genuinely passionate about every team and the guys from the podcasts added a real knowledge to go along with the ex player or manager that featured. It was always three people with a real love for what they were doing and seeminglt a desire to build a rapport with the fans of every club.

All ITV needed to do was move that exact format onto their station.

What we've ended up with is presenters who seem to be going through the motions reading blandly scripted autocues, cliches galore and an ever creeping bias back in favour of the so called bigger teams

I believe the show has undergone a revamp already, no doubt on the back of viewer feedback.

Didn't bother watching or downloading after the first week crap.
Colin Murray the master of the Quest programme needed to spice the programme up.

Bill Murray & groundhog day would do a better job than those presenting it now.
