No-one (sensibly!) predicted anything other than a Man City home win, but five active posters somehow managed to pluck the exact 4-0 scoreline out of the air. Two of the four featured newly promoted teams picked up wins, but this didn't throw everyone off of the scent of PL points.

Tichi1 (OOEE) was the clear star of the week, picking up 18 points using all four games that included the exact scorelines in the League One and League 2 fixtures. I guess he remembered to put substitutes on early enough to replace tiring legs and secure the points (I'm still thoroughly frustrated by our" stupid game management from Saturday).

Hgatenasty (EOEx) scored 15 points without needing the Grimsby away win at the Crown Oil Arena (don't you just love modern sponsorship deals?). Nasty has historically been really quite good at this competition, so let's keep an eye on him, eh?

MORRIM maintains his three point lead at the top of the table, with the trio of CalverleyBoy, Hgatenasty and Tichi1 sharing the second spot.

Alfinyalcabo (ExEx) has joined to represent Burnley and had a decent start to the season, picking up a dozen points, How many games before his beloved Clarets accumulate as many in the real world?

There were no draws, so Johnny_Default marks time on six points. Any Strike 1 posters (moot: everyone showed up!) would've scored nowt for their lack of effort.

The results

(PL) Man City v Bournemouth (4-0)
(C) Rotherham United v Reading (4-0)
(L1) Cambridge United v Exeter City (2-1)
(L2) Rochdale v Grimsby Town (0-1)

The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.

All the best! Stay safe!
