Times are reporting that we've had a £25 million bid with a further £5 million in add ones agreed and he'll be coming up for a medical.

I'm guessing they see alot of potential in him. His stats aren't great but neither were Callum Wilson's or Harry Kane's at 20 years old. Perhaps he presses from the front which is what Howe seems to like and hopefully he'll add more goals and assists in the future

I think they also like that fact that he can play anywhere across the front 3.

The way Watford manager has been talking about him and his attitude also makes him look good.

Well I’ve just done dome reading on the Watford boards and they were raving about him. Better than Richarlison at that age, a tough nut, good technique, a winner - just missing the goals so far!
I’m more excited about this now!

According to the lads here (who remember him from Fluminense (I don’t)) he’s like a young Pedro (who now plays for Flamengo) - a striker/finisher rather than a player who creates for others.

Reports that second bid totaling £25 million has been rejected. Watford want £10 million more.

I’m now expecting a decoy bid for another striker from us hopefully leaving time for Watford to stew with the thought of an unhappy player on their books.

Reporting that he has an ankle injury, fingers crossed.
