    7/10 ths......

Of the World is covered in sea water, sea levels are rising, we ourselves are surrounded by water.

So why is drought even a thing?

Vast pipelines and desalination plants should be the minimum that people across the world should expect.

How we end up being short of water in this country is beyond me, back in March or early April it was impossible to get through Worcester as it was under water.

Hereford and Shrewsbury were flooded and the motorway from Junction 7 of the M5 towards Malvern was a vast wasteland of flooded fields.

We must have morons in charge of water as well as in government.

Desalination plants require a lot of energy. I maintain that this country is overcrowded and that water is going to be a major problem (if it isn’t already) as the population grows even more. It is outrageous that foreign companies and investors have financial interests and control in our water industry; it was the worst thing that Thatcher ever did.

Solar power is plentiful across much of the world so this shouldn’t be an issue.

We have tons of wave and wind power as well as solar for a good part of the year, Christ knows why we can’t power ourselves without relying on Pukin!?

Yep - not a single reservoir has been built for decades, billions of litres of water leak out of the network every single DAY!
