I thought both Offord and BSD had good games last night. BSD's "problem" is that he is slow over the first 5 yards, but he knows this and gives his attention to hindering the forwards progression. This tactic unfortunately relies on the goalkeeper to be quick off the mark to come out and gather the thru balls. Over the years this has not been a strength of Alex goalkeepers. I think that after a few games together BSD and King Arthur will sort it out.
The tactics last night seemed strange in the fact we played against an average side but allowed them to dominate most of the game. When we attacked we seemed positive and fluid, just didn't do it enough. (Then again we won so maybe the tactics were spot on).
