    Swansea v Millwall

It’s Tuesday and our first midweek match of the season. Millwall are the visitors and we’ll be looking to get our first home win of the season. No one needs reminding of the 0-3 horror show against Blackburn last home match. In fact if you include the end of last season we have only one win in the last 8 home matches and that was against relegated Derby.
    Swans 0 Blackburn 3
    Swans 0 QPR 1
    Swans 3 Bournemouth 3
    Swans 1 Middlesborough 1
    Swans 1 Barnsley 1
    Swans 2 Derby 1
    Swans 0 Birmingham 0
    Swans 1 Fulham 5
It was a much better performance in the Blackpool away win last Saturday and Russell Martin will be looking to build on that display.
Jamie Paterson is still out with a groin injury but Cabango came through a first full match after injury and made a big difference in defence. Joe Allen is still building up his match fitness with two substitute appearances so far.
Millwall came back from two goals down at the Den last match against Coventry to win 3-2 and will be confident they can get something at Swansea. Millwall’s Benik Afobe is their main threat and last season’s leading scorer. Ex-Derby striker Mason Bennett is out with a hamstring injury but another new striker Andreas Voglsammer from Union Berlin is ready for his debut.
    Good luck the Swans.

    How embarrassing was that!
Playing their best football for a while we dominated the match.
Then we go and blow it at the end after all that hard work.

Why wasn’t the Millwall player booked for shoulder charging Latibeaudiere which resulted in him dislocating his shoulder, and right in front of ref and linesman? Ref waved play on in a dangerous area where Lati was being attended to on the side of the pitch.
What was Paterson thinking, fetching the out-of-play ball for a Millwall player which enabled him to quickly throw and which led to a goal? He should have left it.

Very frustrating throwing a two goal lead away in injury time. Why don’t the players know how to see a game out?

Disappointing end to the match, we were cruising at 2-0.
The subs and change from back three to four disrupted us and we suddenly looked vulnerable.

From a Lions fan all I can say is thanks for the point, but you played well so how did you manage to lose to the hatters.
