Royal British Legion Poppy pin badges

    https://www.poppyshop.org.uk/collect...-football-pins

There is only one championship club badge unavailable - You guessed it.

As a club we charge a flat rate of £20k or a % of profits for use of the club badge. All other clubs have waived this fee to the RBL.

I fear that we haven't - Please tell me this isn't so. I cannot imagine this is a decision that has been made by TS but I could be wrong. I hope I am not and it is some doll's head in the commercial department being a jobsworth.

Does anyone have any contacts at the club that they can highlight this to - It isn't a good look for us as a club.

I’m not sure if both parties did talk about it but there might have been a problem. Probably we didn’t want to waive the fee I don’t know

Coakley is still waiting on a reply from an E-Mail was last I heard, not sure if anything has moved on since

I think There should be a poppy outside on match days, if there has been then I’ve missed it

I’d buy one and still buy a poppy every year

Buddy, like MillerTop has posted below, Steve Coakley is the person to contact about this. I hope it’s not true, how shameful would that look?

    Hello All

I have gone onto the Royal British Legion website to find that we are the only Championship club to not have a pin badge available.

Are there plans for these to be available as I know that fans are very keen to have these to show our support to veterans and this is not a good look for a community club like ours with a proud and honourable culture to be the only club in the Championship to not offer our badge to this cause.

    Thank you

I have sent that email to the addresses at the top.

It’s a disgrace. Not only are we the only Champ Club without a badge we are the only club in the area as well. Blades Pigs Tykes Pikeys and even Cheesyfailed have got one.
