❔Score, scorers and attendance predictions vs. Gateshead 16.08.22 [NL]

Has this game been called off? Never known NC mad to have made no comment on a forthcoming league match with literally hours to go before kick off, you'd think this was an FA Trophy tie.

Obviously nothing is won or lost this early in the season but I feel we really need to win this game tonight.
7/9 points will be a good start but 4-5 points just feels like it’s setting the usual tone of struggling to pick up points away.
I’m a big believer in managers needing time and not drawing conclusions from a handful of games. However, I just want us to win games this season. Performance is completely irrelevant. Just win the battles in both boxes.
Anywho I’m going to say 2-4 to Notts.
    Langstaff, Rubenx2 Cameron.
I think Adam Campbell will cause us some problems.

I’m setting off from Wigan (a little inbred backwater near manchester) just after 4pm so that’s at least one. I’m going with 2-1 notts

7 previous visits up there and we've only scored in one of those games.
Gateshead will be well up for this after we poached two of their best players, they're also well used to winning. They haven't lost at home since February. I expect tonight to be a very tough game but for Notts' quality and superiority to finally show through in the final quarter of the game and we end up fairly comfortable winners.
