    Grabban - No Thanks

I hope the rumours are not true that we are keen to sign Grabban!! A dinosaur to a dinosaur manager!

In the best possible way - he can f uck off!

I said on previous threads I think Grabban will end up here, cheap, over 30, ticks all of Brucie’s boxes

The rumour is Delap is our 1st choice,

But if we don't get him then we'll go for Grabban.

In all seriousness, who else is there? Who can we go for that is free and available right now?

It'll either be an unproven kid on loan who's been playing PL2 football or an old pro like Grabban.

Can't see what any other choices are.

He was on £30k a week at Forest.

We clearly don't have the money for a proven goalscorer but cannot see the point in taking a gamble with spending money we don't really have on others who may/may not get us goals. Surely Cleary needs to be given more game time? Yes, he has lots to learn but his record in PL2 should speak for itself and he can only improve if given a chance.

It would be criminal if Cleary was ignored and we went for Grabban instead. I suppose that Grabban would be better than Zohore but then, so would a traffic cone. Bringing Carroll back would be 100 times better than enlisting Grabban.

Is Grabban even fit as he no longer has a club? Will get him only to be told he hasn't had a preseason and thus not available for ages?

I wonder why we are fawning over a 19 year old from City and we have an 18 year old chomping at the bit...why is Cleary to young and inexperienced and the 19 year old isn't?
