    We aim so low. I understand the comments about Cleary but how many matches would you give him not scoring at this level when we want to be in the top two? 5? 10? Or would you rather we showed some ambition and spent some serious money on a proven (at this level) goal scorer? (He should certainly be on the bench though, isn’t that how players were given a chance? Come on for the last 15 to show what you can do?) we’ve seen players in the past given a chance and if they don’t rise to the plate they won’t be in the match day squad for long.

    Didn’t Cleary refuse to sign the renewal contract offered to him ? Thereafter, following little interest from other clubs, he graciously signed a 2 year deal with the club who brought him through their academy! I doubt his commitment, albeit believe he certainly should be on the bench.
