Preston North End Post Match Thoughts

Excruciating is the only word to describe what it's like following a game like that on various 'text' only media when it goes to 90+1, 90+2.....90+9. Statistics and general comments seem to point towards a siege akin to the Alamo but at the end of the day we got a better result than Davy Crockett and one more point that could be invaluable at the end of the season. Four days now to rest some weary legs and then we go again at QPR at the weekend.

    Thoughts?

    Excellent defending.

All the back line deserve MOtM but got to give it to the Viking

I agree with that. We’d have lost that game in previous Championship seasons. A real hard earned point.

A fantastic performance from the back 3 and Victor. That sort of determination bodes well for future challenges we'll face in this league.
    Dead chuffed with that result.

How come their keeper wasn’t booked for time wasting but Viktor was?

    Not best from Ogbene

    Harding looked knackered

Some saying it should’ve been a red for Bramall I say it wasn’t even a foul

    I did Say I’d take a point so I can’t moan

    Come on!!!

Very good performance and a very good point earned

Efforts like that are what will keep us in this division

Not pretty but at least CTMiller’s knicker elastic survived

Confidence will be still high in the squad

    Onwards to the next game

An exceptionally hard earned point against a very useful outfit. Obviously rode our luck a few times, but so did they for a couple, let's not forget that. Fantastic resolve by everyone.

Still unbeaten. Conceded 1 30 yard screamer by a CB in 3 games. Positives although we need more help, especially for Wes whilst Kioso is out.

    Proud of the lads.

Viktor MOTM. Rathbone was very good second half.
We’d have been walking away with a 3/4 nil defeat last couple of times in this division.

Credit to Georgie Kelly tonight as well. He was better today with his back to goal and winning fouls.
I suppose he was trying too hard on Saturday to make his mark on a game that was already won.
Kept it simple today and did a job.
    Much improved.
