This is an interesting one. At one stage, he was a really good player, but at 34? He will have lost pace, and while he has a lot of experience, do we see it as a decent signing (if it happens, of course)?

Snodgrass past his best and finished if considering Mwell.

Would have preferred Scott Allan with him being a creative mid-fielder and how Arbroath secured is credit to them. Despite health issue (?) surely was worth considering.

Snodgrass might be a has been but Allan is very much a never was - there are reasons he spent huge chunks of his career on the Dundee or Hibs bench despite his talent. Arbroath might suit him mind.

I'm far from convinced Snodgrass would be a good call for us but if we had to pick one of them it's not even a close call.

Still would prefer us to make an enquiry about a loan deal for Louis Moultt. He was given just 2 minutes on Tuesday night, even if we only got him to January on loan. I still think he could do a job for us just like Tony Watt did until he was transferred

Jeebuzz ... when will the Moult obsession some folks have ever end ??!! Yes, he was totally BRILLIANT for us, but he's done ! It's akin to saying 'let's get wee Arnott back in the team' - with a bit of training I'm sure he'd play more games then King Louis. No offence to either player intended but come on !!
