    Tranmere

Last year at this time, I would've thought that Bruce would find a way to get us knocked out against a team like Tranmere,

I hope we will prioritize the cups this season and I'm sure Eddie and the players won't let us down this early in the season.

Good chance for some of our fringe players to get a game like Elliot Anderson. Not sure we have the strength in depth yet for a good cup run but hoping we do. Squad is much stronger than it was this time last year obviously and we have a manager that knows what he's doing which helps

I think squad depth is important, but having tactical awareness and knowing when to play to your strengths etc. is more important. Making sure that the squad is equipped to rotate is also a factor. Don't think that crossed Bruce's mind once.

i wonder if he gives Chris Wood a run out or keeps him on the bench seeing as though Wilson is injured, maybe give young Dylan Stephenson a run out or play Miggy through the middle, we are very short of forwards

Wood has to start. We will take this seriously and i expect to see some of the usual starting XI playing from the start. My predicted team would be:

    Dubravka

    Krafth Lascelles Botman Trippier

    Longstaff Willock Anderson

    Murphy Fraser

    Wood

I know team is out now but that is pretty much the team I was expecting as well apart from Trippier - thought he'd be rested as well.

Also agree we have to take this seriously.
