We are charging Birmingham the following
    Adults - £24
    Seniors 60+ /18-21/HM Armed Forces Personnel - £14
    Juveniles 13-17 - £9
    Junior 12 and under - £7

Yet Birmingham are charging Swansea (and likely to charge us)
    Adults – £30*
    Seniors (65+) – £25*
    Young adult (19-24) - £25*
    Junior (13-18**) - £20*
    Under 13* - £15*

We have to be one of the cheapest in the Championship, especially with concessions.
Like i said on the other post. Clubs state their prices as the season starts. You can't charge Brum fans £30 and some others £25, unless the club uses different bands for higher grade matches. So, again, if we charge Brum £30 to sit behind the goal then the millers fans pay £30 aswell. Sometimes clubs charge a bit more for extra policing.......an excuse not a reason.

You only have to do it once or twice to make a point and and it would highlight the issue. Imagine the moaning from Sheff Utd fans on Radio Dee dah if we only charged them £33 for an adult, and every other team £24, they would moan and moan, yet our come back would be we are only charging the same price as you charged us.

Higher bands wouldn't be a problem, make 23 bands one for each team if needed.
then offers for home fans, early bird ticket purchase of at 'normal' price then match day price would be same as the band.

Preferably, they should all come down to ours / Readings prices, but it either needs a price cap from the EFL, but then they would have to start paying their players less.

Not sure if postal strike is around this area, might be wise to collect your tickets if you can

Is ticket office open tomorrow (BH Monday), or can you collect tickets from Stadium of Light if order before hand?

fc_miller, great points. Thing is though paying their players less would see them not being able to retain certain players and they would have to work with what was left in front of them. Now wouldn't that be nice then we could see just what other Managers are capable of. Doubt many would cut it and it makes you more proud to have a Manager like Warney who works from a sensible budget.

Nice one MT, think I'll pop to office, prefer to have a hard copy or at least ticket on my phone.

What don't you understand what i've already told you? You CANNOT do what you say. It's against the EFL rules and we'd probably end up with a large fine.
It's up to individual clubs to set their own prices. If you don't agree( like me also) don't go. It's £36 for blades fans to watch us and sit on the sides. We're a team who struggles to get over 9000 home fans if we charged thoses prices they're would be far less.

If you want to highlight the problem then write to the EFL or Sheff Utd and complain.......................good luck with that.

Only for plastic blades, it is £22/ game for Season ticket holders.

So I understand, individual clubs can no longer set more than one price band at the beginning of season.

Being one of the more reasonably priced clubs, I'd prefer everyone came down to our charges or agreed to a price cap. If we can't change their prices we change ours.

It's hard to know what price charges would effect attendance at NYS, as we've had the same season ticket prices at NYS for so long, yo yo between leagues and sell a similar amount.
