I can tolerate us taking a look at Jayden Onen as a young prospect, but we shouldn't be going anywhere near Adi Yussuf who doesn't fit our profile at all - just a journeyman with a below average goal record for most of his career.
The key to us getting out of this league will be improvements on the defensive side of the ball. There are already goals in our team as there were last season, but it was conceding too many that stopped us challenging the likes of Stockport and Wrexham. We need to address that core problem which boils down both to personnel and playing style.
Not getting carried away yet as only on trial but I would prefer to see young combative midfielders and a tall confident defender.
Yusuf is a shambolic footballer with an incredible agent it seems.
Brad Young (GK) just signed on season long loan

For Onen our nonexistent midfield shouldn't be a problem if he's used to playing with himself
We have completed the season-long loan signing of Leicester City goalkeeper Brad Young.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper arrives to provide competition for Sam Slocombe in a move which will allow Tiernan Brooks to go out on loan to gain valuable match experience.
Young, who hails from Sunderland, joined the Foxes from Hartlepool United and has been selected for England at Under 20s level.
Our head coach Luke Williams said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Brad into the fold.
“Throughout the summer we’ve been waiting to get Tiernan out on loan but we couldn’t risk being left without a back-up keeper should anything happen to Sam on a matchday.
“Sam will continue as our number one but Brad has all the qualities to push him day in, day out and we’re confident he’ll be ready when called upon.”
Young will wear squad number 13.
