    What has happened to Covid

    What has happened to Covid.
There has been no mention of Covid on the news as all the talk has been about the new Electricity price cap amount commencing on 1st October 2022 and strike action throughout the country.

Reckon we are getting played like a fiddle by mainstream media.
    Climate change
    COVID
    War in Ukraine
All on the back burner as the media are now trying to blame the working man for the world's woes.
    Crazy

I heard once that the media can only report one crisis at any time as the gullible can't cope with any more than the one.

There's most sympathy to be gained from reporting how Betty's struggling to keep herself warm at home so has to go and sit in the pub all day where, seemingly, the heating is free.

People took the "free money", well warned of consequences by those brave enough to speak out.

    You reap what you sow.

Inflation is here for the foreseeable.

    Most poorer for the foreseeable.

    Life constrained for the foreseeable

Someone on the BBC news must have been reading Dundee Mad as tonight on the BBC 6pm evening news it mentioned that the number of Covid cases had recently fallen to 1 in 45 people.
However there was the usual scaremongering about this total might rise again as a result of the schools going back.
The schools in Scotland have been back for almost a fortnight with no mention by the Scottish Government of Covid cases rising.

The government stopped many from working so hard to provide "free money" for people to live on.
No different from benefits from which the majority have received at some point eg family allowance, income support, disability allowance.
Most people knew there was gonna be a consequence.
Most countries have been hit with higher inflation, even Sweden!

    Most people never.

    Same as benefits 😂

Yeah let's have everyone on benefits, shut down the economy and everyone lives happily ever after ......sounds like a plan.

Benefits are self explanatory, helping those to live.
    Furlough did the same.
UK government stopped many from earning so had to provide support.
If you call it "free money" it is similar to other benefits.
    That what economys do.
Help those who need it and rightly so.
At no point did I say have everyone on benefits.
The benefit system is there to help, unfortunately many milk it.
