Look at the so called yo yo sides of this division who are relegated dust themselves down and go again and get promoted, get there money back by being promoted, duff is an excellent manager, back him,we've a very good chance,if we think were going to use excuses,we need to be a club that runs its self, keep your fans is priority, money in is wat you need to borrow, get some players in, we will pi55 this league, speculate to emulate.rant over.

Watched second aif today, Couldn’t see anything wrong with their third goal which was disallowed. . Nothing. A good result, and some good stuff…[and some guff].
    Collins in top, top form…..
    Craig David Time……

“Helik going to Huddersfield Monday, Anderson to Sunderland Tuesday , Collins will be out by Wednesday,. And on Thursday, Friday and Saturday we can’t sign nobdy “

And we go again with “nearly over the line…. But just too late.”

I predicted a draw and a point is just reward for the 600 fans making that journey to Ipswich and back.

Only seen short highlights and read the end of the BBS match thread so cannot comment on overall performance but we seem to have survived a hectic finish with Ipswich hitting the post, two good Collin's saves and one off the line.

Perhaps this may be the foundation for a surge up the Third Division table.

    Up the Duff.

The way I see it is that this season is the classic transitional period , the finances or lack of them are the only show in town and dictate the narrative .

The club in league one will at least for now still have enough brand clout to attract the better players who have run their contracts down or released by their previous clubs , previous examples would be Alfie Mawson , Josh Scowen and Andy Yiadom .

That in itself will probably be enough to keep the club in league one whilst managed on the field with someone such as Duff who at least seems to have half a clue .

However to compete at the top end of this league will require the star quality adding , the Connor Hourihane or the Sam Winnall if you will plus some hit the ground loans such as Brownhill or Fletcher .

The club at this moment in time is in a similar position when we went down under Danny Wilson in 2015 .

The huge difference is Patrick would have loaned the club the money to add the star quality but today that's not going to happen .

There's a real possibility that stagnation will kick in because treading water in league one isn't what the club with its history , infrastructure and potential fan base is set up to be about .

There are some real sirens going off with further stagnation more likely if investment isn't forthcoming than a return any time soon to the championship .

I'd kindly suggest a bit of backing for this HC is forthcoming , the next one in might well come from a sector of the market with less credentials .

Whether you could say we were lucky to hang on in the end, and with their disallowed goal as well. Thats happened against us so many times in the past though, so Im pleased to hear our keeper and defense held out.

Have you noticed Chaplin has been running his mouth a bit about us. Regarding the way we continually buy and sell, and offer no loyalty whatsoever to players and staff etc.
Well hes got a point and maybe he was treat unfairly here. But hes got to remember, loyalty works both ways dun't it. And that was a brilliant free kick goal from him, Im guessing he really enjoyed celebrating it against us, for various reasons!.

What he meant was that the club was deliberately run just to trade players , it's hit a nerve with some on the other board but the truth hurts doesn't it .

Exactly. Too many folk still with their heads buried in the sand unfortunately. The amount of departures from the club last summer clearly tells its own story.

He'll have been told same if he performs theres a chance you'll move on to bigger and better things,if hed have kept on scoring like he did when he had that little run where he scored plenty in about 10 games including a hat trick who knows who he could have been playin for now,he's upset because only a league 1 side came in for him. Theres no loyalty at all although Woodrow showed a little when cardiff were sniffing I thought anyway.
