For me, Longstaff was moving towards the ball and would’ve got his foot to it if he hadn’t been pulled back by his shirt.

Apparently VAR reckoned it wasn't a 'sustained' pull.

Honestly, man, these arrogant arseholes just make rules up to cover their backs when they make a shit decision.

I have to say, I think they got the Schar decision wrong, but that was a blatant penalty.

Really. I must’ve missed that one in the rule book - the section on severity of shirt pulling.

You wouldn't think the severity of the pulling mattered. Simply a shirt tug is an unfair way of holding a player back from getting the ball, just as bad as putting an arm over his face and holding him back.
