Thanks Norton, I have to go into hospital soon for a replacement of my old hip replacement. This operation which will involve a bone graft will be carried out at the Orthopedic clinic in Oswestry. I decided to have a decent holiday in case the op does not go to plan! I have an x ray booked there on Thursday and a pre op at the same time. The operation should have taken place in March this year, but my covid infection put paid to that. Fingers crossed.

I know a few people who’ve had knee and hip replacements, amazing results with surprisingly little convalescence. I hope things go well for you.

Norton, I had both hips replaced 28 years ago, but the right one is now causing problems, My right leg is about 10 mm shorter than the left, hence the bone graft. Back when i had them done the told me they should last about 12 to 15 years , so they haven't done bad. It will be good to be pain free again, I hope.

Abbo, good luck when you go in for your procedure. Unfortunately I'm in New Cross right now with a flare up of my pancreas. Hopefully I'll be out for the Saints game.
