£5 million option to by after loan spell. Oh, and he's definitely spat his dummy oot IMO.

I don't disagree. Plus, after the way Man U were over Lingard, I'm pissed off we're even entertaining the idea.

He’s not as good as Pope so he won’t really be missed, as much as i liked him. I thought he’d leave but i assumed he would want to be first choice elsewhere. Suppose he’s been promised European and cup appearances which is more than he’d get here.

We will need a new number 2, Darlow is not good enough, Gillespie is not good enough,

Yeah this odd. I felt very comfortable knowing we had 2 quality keepers. Too often we dropped points when we missed our number 1 in previous seasons.

Good luck to him though, he's been quality for us.

I can't understand the loan deal perspective. At least for even £5 mil we could've brought in a decent backup keeper, someone better than Darlow who we all agree is not quite good enough. He can be good but is not steady enough.

From Dubs' perspective, I can see why he would find this tempting, even if I myself can't stand the Mancs.

Surely we would have included a recall clause, if Pope does get injured he’d be first choice.

Sorry I'm repeating an earlier post. But I cannot understand a player going to swap one bench for another.
