The positives with LF are that

1. United impressed with how he has been since he arrived under TC

2. He has worked some decent places and under ok managers - obviously able to handle himself

Against

1. A lot of people come with reputations as great coaches and are not good managers

2. Cowdenbeath is a negative on the CV

As he is being appointed now my preference is that he gets it to end of season

If he steers us to safety by World Cup break then can think about extending further then

One of the things that has made United supporters very easy to deal with and keep faith is that JM had such a bad start but came through famously. The same faith is given to people without his talents though.
