    Sammy Chung

Just read he passed away a couple of days ago.

Part of the management team that won the '74 League Cup and was manager for the promotion winning side later on that decade.

He did well at Wolves while in the hot seat. I was surprised that he was 90. RIP.

He was the nice cop to McGarry's bad cop. That team should never have been in a position to get relegated in 1975/76. Fortunately, in those days the players showed more loyalty than today and wanted to stay to get us back up . Sammy did a really good job that season. RIP Sammy Chung

That promotion season was one of the first seasons I went regularly... Chelsea at home, Bolton and Cardiff away were interesting. Decent Manager Sammy Chung, deserves to be remembered.

Sammy Chung received a warm prolonged ovation before the kick off yesterday from the thirty thousand plus crowd.
