Yep...first ‘proper gig’ (Deep Purple 1970) and first Festival (Bardney 1971) count for me as well.

Either great, Family especially. There’s been a few David Byron’s, only one Chappo

I walk my dog past his birthplace occasionally. Epic musician, whether playing to 10,000 with Asia or 200 at The Flowerpot

Another bucket list tick tomorrow. PDC darts final at AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Another event where the TV coverage is better but it's another drunken atmosphere to suck up. Look out for a DCFC flavoured board being held up.

Looks like FIA are trying to sweep Red Bulls cheating under the carpet. Apparently offered them a deal that will remain confidential. So cant be anything more than a slap on the wrists.

Break the rules and exceed the budget, lets tread on egg shells not to upset red bull, but wear a piercing and they are all over it like a rash.

It's difficult to say because it's all happening behind closed doors but it seems they've offered Redbull an ABA but for RB to accept it means effectively admitting they overspent and being labelled as cheats which they do not want to do. I think it's going to get messy very soon before it gets better, the problem the FIA have is they underestimated how much a 5% or €7m could buy you in updates, it's understood that roughly €3.5m is the budget Merc set aside for a seasons updates so you can understand why they're miffed that 5% breach is classed as minor and could just result in a fine according to the rules

5% doesn’t sound much when it’s 50p but 7mill get RB a load of tweaks. I have no allegiance to any F1 team but I hate cheats so would be happy for RB to be retrospectively excluded from 2022. But they won’t
