    Matchday Thread - Southampton

Starting XI: Sa; Jonny, Collins, Kilman, RAN; Nunes, Neves (c), Moutinho; Neto, Kalajdzic, Podence

Subs: Sarkic, Bueno, Gomes, Ronan, Semedo, Campbell, Guedes, Hwang, Traore

12 minutes in and it's been alright so far. Southampton with a bit more possession but doing nothing with it. Austrian Peter Crouch gets the start today. No Jimenez on the bench!

Neto gets a great layoff from Nunes on the break and and he just drags the shot wide. Should have been a goal!

Austrian Peter Crouch hasn't done much yet but you can tell he's worrying the Southampton CBs

Jimenez was injured during warmups, which is the reason he was excluded from the matchday squad last second

Neves with a bad turnover in the middle of the field, but the centerbacks bail him out by defending the break.

Trainers looking at Kalajdzic's knee after he goes down without contact from an opposing player. Fearing the worst

Wolves on the break, Nunes with a great pass to Podence, who chips it past the keeper.

    1-0!!!
