Officials and the use of VAR

Well, whaddya know? The linesman was a tw@. All of his doing, and of course, the Ref blew too early. Bit of Kevin Friend deja vu?

In fairness, citeh played to the whistle and stopped, a good second before the strike, so who knows. Would have been nice to find out.

But some of the other decisions this weekend, Chelsea, Van Dyke, Manure’s triple handball last week.

It would appear that the first check on VAR, is for the BADGE on the shirt.

VAR is just highlighting the incompetence of the officials.

Has anyone seen a ref blow so quick since VAR arrived, its almost like he didnt want to let the decision be reviewed???? Surely that couldnt be the case could it, I mean, that would mean there is a bias towards certain clubs. Apparently the officials admitted to SG after the game that it was an "error" thats alright then, its not like the 2 points lost might be important eh?

Sorry, doesn’t make it all alright, does it mate?

Sorry is just a word, that is so overused and inappropriately used when stuck for something to say. It has become a very feeble excuse for being a tw@.

    Sorry.

So Mings punches Haaland in his big forhead, the ref calls him over the dish the red card but wait a minute, Mings has stated he "made an error" and is "sorry" the realising the mistake puts away his card and waves play on......now does that sound stupid? What's the difference. If the people operating VAR do not know how to use it then let's just scrap it. I have stated from day one, Var will kill the game as, its being used to disalow perfectly good goals!

And along with FFP, Dave, it is being used to maintain the usual suspects’ privileged and protected status.

They’ll invent something else soon, choosing refs (ala Fergie) or no penalties against, or a ‘get out of jail card’, 1 per game, to rectify decisions against them. All sounds a bit mad, but so did FFP & VAR, 20 years ago.

Yes and I see Klopp has inherited the 'Fergie Watch' play on till we score, they won't notice.
