    Permanent exit

I was going to honour the (kind of) commitment to at least limit my posts until Christmas, but having witnessed the vile, patronising, nonsensical, hypocritical, abusive, condescending and frankly bizarre "contributions" of some of those who post here regarding the limited number of posts I have provided over the last month, I don't think this place is deserving of even a modicum of effort on my part, either to respond to such rank stupidity and insult, nor to venture any opinions as to LUFC (on and off the pitch) as such opinions will be subject to the kind of responses only a child would be prepared to own up to.

Tich and Hopelesslyoptimistic,, please get a room as your sycophantic badinage is simply embarrassing, I suspect I'm not the only one who is unable to detect where one finishes and the other starts, and I most certainly can't stomach the rank hypocrisy that emanates from both of you

Hopelesslyoptimistic, if you are able to provide EVIDENCE that LUFC paid more than £50m for Raphine, I'll send you a case of your preferred beer to a destination of your specification, but I'm not holding my breath (I don't care if you can't, I wouldn't drink anything you provided for all the tea in China). Also, I DIDN'T "insult the bereaved" I simply suggested (based on personal experience) that dedicating time and energy to posting here having lost a loved one is not the best use of valuable time).

Whitestomper, you're not funny, your not particularly amusing, you are a tad juvenile and you should learn to grow up a little (then again, that applies to the others referred to above, a pattern is emerging!)

Monaco Totty, I need your amateur trickcyclry like I need a hole in the head. Your attempts at idiosyncratic humour, dressed up in some sort of quasi-scientific mumbo jumbo reflecting your and your familys struggles with mental health issues (with which by the way I have the utmost and sincere sympathy), as with those of the more "blunt" members referred to above, is about as truly funny as a heart attack at a funeral.

On the subject of most posts and certainly most recently, there are those who are prepared to accept that unquestioning loyalty and blind faith are the mark of those whose support to LUFC is true. On a (slightly) more serious matter (sense the irony folks!), failure to question is what led to the Holocaust and other obscenities, and blind faith is the mark of those who cannot, and/or who choose not to see. I'm neither. Bill Shankly was quoted as saying that football wasn't just a matter of life or death, it was much more important than that.........Pure unadulterated bollox.

Holding our (yes, OUR) football club to account is the one singular and most important capability and responsibility that supporters have, now and was ever the case. Questioning what they do in our name, who they appoint to take OUR club forward, how they structure a team so OUR club succeeds, the choices they make to provide OUR team with the ability to do well, they are ALL matters that we should question, for too long we have accepted that "they know best" or "we can't do anything about that", or "we've always done it this way".

All the sh1t that the named posters above have provided, not only in response to my posts but in general responses to what the club has and continues to do, illustrates why and how the powers that be at LUFC have and continue to get away with blind robbery.

I will NOT be posting again, put out the flags

Many thanks for finding the time to respond to my offerings. Shame you couldn't respond to any of my & family attempts to shake hands at a Leeds match close to your locality.
Mental health is important and I do hope you carefully think about your own & spare a thought for certain ex-players who YOU in your wisdom chose to publicly pass the parameters of decency regarding YOUR opinions expressed at times. Publically calling me 'deluded' and not saying sorry wasn't nice but hey-Ho waters under the bridge.

As stated many times I generally enjoyed your banter within limits.
Leaving the Forum will be YOUR loss not mine.

    1. "Sycophantic badinage" - I thought I had a good vocabulary but you learn something new every day.
    2. Quite disappointed not to qualify for a mention.
    3. I actually thought he was quite funny (at times).

To be fair Sycophantic & Badinage scrape quite a few points in Scrabble Ubi.

Mum in tears not making his list also (Tears of laughter that is).
Good news is Rosey Lee & Marleys Ghost are trying to re-register to fill the void.

On the evidence of how much we received (rather than paid) for Rapha - Transfer market which that certain poster often cited says £52.3m and BBC state total deal worth £55m.

Hey ho it was always going to be a case of tails he wins heads I lose 😆
