    Thomas Tuchel.

He has just been sacked by Chelsea. They have asked for permission to speak to Steve Bruce.

Looks like Sunderland can forget about Potter then. 😆

...dont get it. 250 mill spent in the summer. He won CL, Super Cup and World cup 2 top 4 finishes in less than 2 years.

    Wow. Madness.

Great coach IMHO but too honest. Too vocal.

Too vocal in what way? I genuinely find him refreshing and very much needed in this crazy world of elite football. He calls it as it is.

Hope he finds himself a respectable employer.

Exactly as you said "He calls it as it is". Too vocal in saying that things are not right. Would have done better with Cabbage's approach talking about good performances even though they were crap. Or Brendan's approach of saying a lot without saying anything at all. Whinging while saying he's not whinging...

Too vocal for Chelsea's liking. Article about it on the Beeb suggests that he was equally vocal behind the scenes also. And that American fella probably doesn't appreciate people having an opinion.

I have time for Tuchel. His assessments of his own team are brutally honest. His hissy fit with Cunte probably didn't raise his stock but I think it is madness to sack him.

They should get Poch in and go further down the table

Ah, I see what you mean TT - we are in complete agreement here then. The Chelsea owners and board seem daft to me, the Chelsea fans actually liked their manager this time around (unlike most others they've had).

Chelsea already have pemission to talk to Potter. I hope he thinks he's better staying where he is, with a safe steady club, rather than a one who would give him a few weeks to work miracles.

Going there would be the first bad move I see Potter do. Risks tarnishing his good name - a bit like No-no Espirito at Spurs. He'll be committing to resolve problems that Tuchel can't solve, in less time.

Potter should keep his powder dry. He'd be a shoe-in to replace Southgate if he flops in Qatar.
