Aye, I'm fairly sure he's on about £70k with us.

Well...Klopp deemed him good enough to start a Champions' League final so there's definitely a good 'keeper in there somewhere. Plus, needs must.

Aye. Certainly in the past he was a good keeper, that CL game has become his defining moment, maybe unfairly so since he was apperently suffering from concusion.

Dubravka did well for us, esp early doors when our defense was a lot ropier, until we got Pope, I`m pleased we had him and wish him well. In a short career I don`t begrudge him trying a world famous club, (as we are), just to experience another set up and have another story to tell his kids and grand kids. Good luck, unless they`ve dropped a rick and you play against us one day.

This is also how I feel. I understand Marty, I just don't understand the deal itself between the clubs. Anyways, Pope is the better keeper, so we're better off than we were.

The club doing business with a club, that refused to do business when we needed it. Does not sit well with me.

That's right Scott, we should have screwed them for evey penny possible after the way they mucked us about.

The only reason I think they didn't, apart from our club having more dignity than Manaure, was to possibly get the best deal possible on behalf of the player, who had given us such good service while he was here.

If we screwed them, they would have backed out of the deal. I think Dubs wanted out ASAP.

Although we should arguably have acted in our own interest and hiked the price, maybe it was not deemed in our interest for it to break down and be left with a sourpuss between the sticks
