    Fixture pile-up? Well, well.

So, here we have it. One of the main reasons for the fixtures being canceled?

Sky doesn't have enough OB trucks to cover them. All OB staff and trucks transferred to Sky News Channel, for their ratings and coverage war, with the BBC.

That and the lazy Auld Bill.

Ahh that explains it then. I was having a look at the official requests/protocol, and it was only requested that sporting events didn't clash with the Queen's funeral, which, of course, would have been disrespectful. Makes sense now ... Thanks for sharing, Exiled.

So, Sky has all their uber-OB trucks in prime positions, outside Westminster Abbey for Monday. Are they gonna move them on Saturday or Sunday, lose their spot to some oik of an overseas broadcasting company?

Nah, postpone the footy, they can order a replay of the matches, to suit their schedule. Can’t replay the death of a Monarch. Get Sky News to peddle out a story blaming the cops.

Mind you, the thieves were due to play in West London, the day before the funeral. Auld Bill would have been busy, with the store detective branch on overtime.
