Thread: Race Riots in Leicester

I love your fall-back position whenever the Tory party really cocks it up let's either blame or mention Labour.

The Blair/Brown stitch up was an affront to democracy in the same way 81000 Tory members being given the opportunity to decide the United Kingdom's Prime Minister is and was.

The "system" is broken, and we need to fix it.

On fiscal matters it cost this country around £30 billion to fix Covid thanks to the Chinese farting about in a laboratory in Wuhan, it's just cost us another £65 billion to shore up the pound thanks to Quasi Modi opening his trap.

    Words on occasions fail me.

Do you really want me to dig out and quote all the Lefty blowhards in the Grauniad predicting doom, gloom and disaster as pound/dollar parity was arrived at, except it wasn't. Words never fail the likes of Polly Tuscany mon ami, no matter how often she's wrong, she always comes back for more. Bit like you really, I love you Lefties, you can never keep a good Lefty down for long.

All I know is the top 5% wage earners in this country get a huge tax cut while the rest of us suffer an unprecedented cost-of-living crisis, the IMF are telling us to put our house in order and we continue to pump $hit into our seas.

If you can justify any of this nonsense mon ami just carry on because it looks like 60% of the voting public won't.

My wife asked me last night "Why are we on a war footing?" She was not joking either, but she fails to realise a class war is about to break out.

Some facts for you mon ami, the top 10% of earners provide 60% of our income tax revenues. Allowing these people to keep a bit more of their own money may incentivise and encourage them to work even harder at providing the economic activity, and thus the wealth this country depends on, and even further increase the tax revenues they provide. Total anathema to Lefties such as your good self I know, steeped in the politics of greed and envy, but there it is, the Laffer Curve, it's worked in the past, although I expect you'll deny that as well.

Another fact, the top rate has been reduced from 45% to 40%, this has caused Lefty toys to be thrown out of the pram, but 40% was the top rate for the duration of the last Labour government, including during the financial crisis when the economy was in an even worse state than it is now.

You Lefties seem to suffer from institutionalised memory loss, you whine about Truss becoming PM on the back of just 80,000 votes, conveniently forgetting that Brown became PM on the back of no votes at all. You whine about a top tax rate of 40% under the Tories, conveniently forgetting it was 40% under the last Labour government. Or would it be much more accurate to describe it as selective memory loss ?

There's a time and a place for everything mon ami, the worse cost-of-living crisis in living memory is not the time to be giving the rich further riches IMHO.

The top 10% of earners who you allege provide 60% of our income tax revenues are amongst the UK's top tax dodgers.

I will repeat this one last time, "If Blair and Brown ever were or are socialists, I'm an Arctic penguin".

Just re-read your post to see if you were taking the pi$$ mon ami. Your quote that socialism is "steeped in the politics of greed and envy" suggests you are.
